Healthcare design aims to create environments that promote healing, comfort, and efficiency within healthcare facilities. Healthcare design incorporates safety for staff, ergonomic furniture, technology, soothing colour schemes, and functional layouts to enhance patient well-being.
An emphasis is placed on infection control, accessibility, and creating spaces that support medical staff in delivering quality care.
Thoughtful health care design elements aim to reduce stress, enhance privacy, and optimize the overall patient experience.
Lihtan Theraphy collective is approximately 1850 SQ FT. It is located on 5th floor of the South land tower, Calgary. They are psychotherapy clinic that specializes in all aspects of your mental health, especially trauma, addiction and ADHD. This project was completed July 2024.
Challenge:
Transform an outdated office interior into a functional psychotherapy clinic that supported modern clinical needs, while addressing poor acoustic privacy, limited natural light, and an environment that felt cold and disconnected from the client experience.
Solution:
We reimagined the 1,850 sq ft space through thoughtful space planning, acoustic design strategies, and a brand-driven material palette inspired by Lithan Therapy Collective’s grounding, restorative approach to mental wellness. Natural elements—including warm wood tones, soft organic textures, and biophilic details—were layered throughout the space to create a calming, light-filled environment that promotes safety, comfort, and connection.
Result:
The completed clinic now offers a welcoming and highly functional therapeutic environment that enhances privacy, improves client comfort, and strengthens Lithan Therapy Collective’s brand identity—supporting both healing and meaningful human connection.
Parkview Massage + wellness office is approximately 1,500 SQ FT. It is located on Canyon Meadows Drive, with in the community of Lake Bonivista. They offer services such as relaxation/therapeutic massage, couples massage, prenatal/postnatal massages, cupping, infrared body wraps, detox, seaweed wraps, customized facials, skin care analysis, waxing, eyebrows tinting. They also have a small retail area. The retail design of the space is warm & welcoming.
