Registered Interior Designer

NCIDQ, BA (Hons) Interior design, WELL AP,

LEED Green Associate

Susanne graduated from one of England's top design schools with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Interior Design. She is a firm believer in lifelong learning. Sustainable building practices are a primary focus, and Susanne strives to create environments that help boost the wellness of their occupants.

She is a creative interior designer with over 20 years of experience and a strong background in commercial design. She is also an NCIDQ-certified professional, which means she has acquired the expertise, knowledge, and skills through a combination of education, experience, and examination to create interior environments that meet the requirements of and present solutions for her clients.

Susanne has extensive knowledge of current Calgary, Alberta, and British Columbia municipal building codes, standards, and regulations and adheres to these in all SDID work. At the same time, she pays strict attention to the importance of accessibility, functionality, health, safety, and welfare of her clients.

Susanne believes every project is unique and, therefore, approaches every project differently, giving her clients a tailor-made design.

As part of her design point of view, Susanne became a LEED green associate. Being a LEED green associate has added to her sustainable and green building knowledge.

She's a Well-accredited professional (Well AP). Following this building standard can positively affect you and your employees. The spaces around us can make everyone, everywhere, healthier, happier and more productive.

Volunteering is an integral part of SDID; Susanne is an active member of the Interior Designers of Alberta's (IDA) registration committee.

Susanne is a registered member of the Interior Designers of Alberta. As her primary residence is in Calgary, she holds an out-of-province member of the Interior Designers Institute of British Columbia (IDIBC). SDID can provide design services in both Provinces.

We are located in Calgary, Alberta and the Columbia Valley, British Columbia.
